Vin de pays du jardin de France Pays de Retz.
Mis en bib par Christian Jaulin au Domaine du Grand Poirier. Winemaker at La Limouziniere.
Vdp the Val de Loire red Cabernet 2007.
Wine Country garden of France.
Origin : the Loire Valley.
Grape : 35 years on an assembly of two regions:
silt 30cm deep by gneiss sandy soil and 35 cm deep on mica schist soil.
Performance 35 hectolitres per hectare.
Nose well-typed intense cabernet, expressive aroma.
The red fruit is ripe dominant notes (cassis) and combines perfectly with the notes of grilled toast (coffee, crusty bread), smoky and spicy (liquorice, pepper and mint).
This wine is tasted with pleasure and can be store for several years. Fine with meats, cold meats and cheeses.
Store in oak barrel for 4 months.
